New Studio

Yeeha! Some friends and I have got a new studio. We're setting up the place now.

The journey so far...

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my No Vacancy solo show at the end of the year due to this film I working on. Hopefully I'll have some time off next year to complete these artworks. Here's what the scroll looks like so far...

Lying on the desk of my old studio, No Studio, with my ol' studio buddy Kath working in the background.

Here are some closer shots so you can see the scale of the work.

Some close up shots of the detailed brush work.

And some shots of the unfinished pencil works.

No Studio

Here's where it all happens.

My eyes are bigger than my brush

I've started a new drawing. It's going to be two scrolls, 60cm x 300cm. I'll update it as I go along, but I thought you (yes you) would be interested in seeing where it all starts.

The paper I'm using is 200gsm and from Italy. I'll be painting it using Acrylics and gold leaf. Only the best.

My studio buddy, and fellow Illustrator, Paul Ikin had to climb up a ladder to take the photo.

My old studio

My old studio on the top floor on the corner of Elizabeth and Flinders Lane is now officially DEAD!

Here's a photo of my desk taken a year ago by SHE IS FRANK (a professional photographer.)

And here are a few I took a couple of weeks ago...

That was my window yo...
