Grant Nimmo's new paintings

A couple of years ago my dad and I bought this 5x6 foot painting from Grant Nimmo. It hangs next to my bed. Every day I go to sleep and wake up looking at it. It bring me great joy. There is an enormous amount of peace and stillness that he has created within it, a quality that is rare in a lot of paintings.

Here are a few of his latest paintings. They make me want to pack up my bags, leave the city and live in the wilderness. Maybe when I'm older and a tad bit crazier.
